Why did I reblog ? HONY (which stands for Humans of New York) must be one of the most famous photographer ever capturing all kind of human beings living in New York. Stumbling upon his tumblr it is impossible not to spend hours watching his photos and reading the comments below them. Sometimes it is a simple sentence, an other time it is what his “model” told him and on an other one it is what the photographer behind Hony is thinking. Anyway each time I’m seeing one of his shot it brings me a smile or it makes me laugh so loud that I can’t help but having some tears in my eyes.So yeah HONY if you ever read this this is my love letter to your photos.

What I’m seeing. Her eyebrows ! Have you ever seen such ones ? Besides the fact that she could be a perfect subject for street style photographers I felt like HONY in this shot captured who she is in reality. So it is much more than what a street style photographer would do in my opinion. She is certainly stylish but seeing this picture I couldn’t help but think that she was some kind of performer and I couldn’t be more right. The lady on the picture calls herself a “Female Drag Queen”. A perfect “live” picture don’t you think ?

Oh and by the way this young lady appears to be one of the model of the last Lanvin campaign. For once I wouldn’t say that I don’t understand fashion photography, Alber Elbaz and his team just picked up people with guts in my opinion !
